I bought my Otterbox about a month ago for a new Apple I-phone. While using the phone it slipped out of my hands and fell about 4.5 ft onto a hard tile floor. The bounced once before settling on the floor. Upon picking the phone up I noted it was still in perfect condition (working and cosmetically). Great protection!

i love the facxt lthat is a rugged case and the design is great I would improve lthe belt clip by making it wider so it will clip over belts deigned to be used for carrying a weapon

Love my otter box. Have had one since my iPhone 3. Always had camo. But the last camo one I had on my iPhone 6 the backing started to peel off. So went back to the basic black.

I had a Defender case on my iPhone 6 for three years and knew that I wanted another one when I upgraded to 8. I am constantly trying to do or carry too much and have dropped my phone EVERYWHERE--on tile, on concrete, on asphalt. The belt clip took a beating, but my phone was pristine when I returned it to Sprint. It even survived my teenage son.
Be aware, the case is *not* water-tight. I had to remove it and dry the water on the rare occasions that I used my phone in the rain or splashed water on it.
Also, the more malleable plastic sheet over the Home button started to migrate up after two years of use and wrinkled in a way that was not aesthetic and occasionally interfered with the touch screen sensitivity underneath it. Had I upgraded my phone and bought a new case sooner, it would never have been an issue.
