The otterbox to is the best protected cover I have use. I am a truck driver and I have drop my phone a few time getting out of the truck. One time I drop it getting out of the big truck and it hit the ground on the edge. Well I didn't notice of any damage but later I saw a crack on my face on the phone and the otter box had crack the phone was not even hurt thanks you otter box are great

We have always had OtterBox Defenders in all of our Apple devices. We do not have to keep up with the latest of technology by upgrading frequently. With this being said, our 2 iPhone 4s and our iPhone 5s look brand new to this day.
Last year, I got an iPhone 7 because my youngest wanted a phone and got my 4s. This year, my oldest jumped in the pool with her 5s. (These aren't waterproof). It was replaced with a 7. Both have Defenders.
PROVEN EFFECTIVE: I set my phone on the bumper of my Jeep. Thought about moving it in case I forgot I set it there. Decided I wouldn't forget it. Yes, I forgot about it! Closed my gate and the phone got caught. The corner of mJeep gate was bent! And, the OtterBox & iPhone had absolutely no scratch!!!
Only negative is color options (for the 7). I have a lighter color instead of basic black so that I could detect where I may set it down while working. My hands get dirty in my line of work and this case is filthy! Wish there were darker color options besides just black.
