I just received this. The case is as expected, but the screen is cheap, does not fit to the screen well, and makes using the iPhone difficult to use. I had used the Lifeproof cases before, and they have a much better screen/phone interface.

I love otterbox products. This the 7th case I've bought as our whole family depends on the durability of the cases. However, I must say I'm disappointed in this case. It's definitely a "girly" case so why would the inside casing be GRAY? White would have been so much more attractive! Can't decide to return or not as there's really not many other choices. I hope the product department will consider selling white again

I bought the Borealis case recently and put it on my phone yesterday and it's already starting to get stained. I saw someone else had the same case she got around thanksgiving and the whole case is tinted yellow. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good case solid I like it but the screen protection that comes on the case is garbage and makes it hard to use the phone I took it off and now the phone works perfectly just using a tempered glass screen protector and the case is a good combo

It sounds like the integrated plastic on that case was strangely sitting a little higher than usual, resulting in what we call a "trampoline gap." For future reference, had you contacted us, we would have loved to help get you a warranty replacement, but as it is, taking off any crucial parts of the case can void the warranty. In this instance, our friendly Otters may be able to make an exception, since removing any part of the Defender can compromise the overall protection of the unit. If you would like to look into this further, please feel free to reach out to us at 1-855-688-7269, and we'll gladly see what we can do!

I love my otter box case. I am a serial phone dropper / cracker / loser. This case is so handy. I got used to the size of it very quickly. It’s so easy to grip. Still fits in my pocket. The black cases is so handy when it comes to exploring in the countryside or holding up my phone when on train journeys. Love that the little bits defend the charger hole too!

I’ve been a lifeproof case buyer for years. This otterbox case feels rugged and sturdy and I don’t doubt it’s protection features. It’s most disappointing feature is the fingerprint id scanner to unlock the phone. Due to the design of the case the scanner only works about 10% of the time. It’s frustrating and annoying and I intend on replacing the case with a lifeproof fre as soon as possible. I’m just not really impressed
