I first purchased an iPhone 5s and now have upgraded to an iPhone 7. I did quite a bit of shopping before I bought a case. I work in a body shop and things do happen but my OtterBox phone cases have kept my phones perfect! In fact when I went to trade in my phone the young lady at the counter and I almost had to break the OtterBox case to get it off. That case is indestructible and I wouldn't trust my investment to any other. Thank you OtterBox!
The protection and ease of putting is excellent. I would prefer a smooth material for outer case as this one gets 'dingy' looking after a while.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this in September and the whole back is peeling!! I don't use it everyday. Very disappointed!!!

Had an old defender case for iPhone 7. When I got the 8 there was a gap between the screen and the protector. Bought this 8/7 case and same thing.

Poor quality

I have purchased Otterbox Defender Series for many years. Purchased another this spring. I should have listened to other reviews about poor quality; not like they used to be. I now know that’s correct. I dropped phone on hardwood floor, case split open, phone screen shattered. My grandkids and myself have dropped our phones in the past w/o a problem. This latest case doesn’t match up. Won’t buy Otterbox again.
