I bought this case about 3 weeks ago and I am a little sad that I did. I wanted the most protected case I could get and otter box has never disappointed me. I thought the price was pretty high. My case has a protective screen attached to it and dust is always getting between my screen and the screen protector. It also leaves a really odd rainbow color on the middle of my screen where the screen protector is laying on the screen wrong. I also am very careful with my phone and there is already a scratch on the case screen protector.
The case had a plastic sticky thing to go over the home button (probably to make it more water resistant) but with the iPhone 7 it could not read my finger print and it also could not always tell that I was pushing the button. The little plastic covering ended up rubbing off kind of tearing off and now it's just sticky where it was.
The case is protective but I was quite disappointed with it.

Unfortunately, the screen protector of my case does not seem to be flush on the screen of my phone and makes it very difficult to type on. Also, I got the Borealis colour of the case and in less than a week it looks very dirty. Love Otterbox products but this particular case was not great for me.

Fits perfect but is not specific for the SE model. There is a window on the back of the case for the Apple logos that were on the older "7" and "8" models. The new SE does not have the logo so it looks like I have the wrong case for the phone! Oh well!

I bought this case for protection against dropping. Also my phone is very slick to handle and this case makes it easier to handle without dropping it but it does make the phone somewhat heavier.

As you get older the eyes start to fade & your grip isn’t as steady as it once was. The iPhone Defender is the perfect solution. Really like this product. Control buttons are so much more responsive than previous product. Touch screen is also more responsive. Product seems to offer almost complete protection. Everything but being water proof. I still feel confident using it outdoors in the elements. Previous cover was waterproof, but I feel otterbox is superior in design.

I always buy otterbox, my phones always survive things they really shouldn’t in them, so they are great that way. I only find that the phone still gets fine material trapped between the screen and cover and I need to take it apart and clean it pretty often under the case , Which is pretty irritating and stretches the case wrap over time . Problems aside , i buy otterbox as I know my phone will survive the rough usage it sometimes gets.
