Love the colour, and the grippyness of the rubber outer case. Easy to fit. Bought as an alternative to lifeproof, as I preferred the colour. Very robust. Screen looks good through the cover, no problems with Touch ID.

I purchased one for myself, i have been an otter box fan for several years now, but i mostly bought black, i can’t tell you how many times i have dropped my phone and this case saved it. Recently my daughter dropped her phone she had a glass shield on it and yes that broke, so I told her to go to the website and pic a defender case, she picked the same color as i a teal blue and i bought her that one as well. You just cant beat an otter box, when it comes to safety for your phone and they have such nice colors too.

I bought this to protect my phone, which isn’t does wonderfully but unfortunately it blocks the ability to use your fingerprint or do credit card payments.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife wanted a color that was a little different than my new case which I bought in black. We had Otterbox Defender series for our old phones so when we got new phones, Otterbox was the logical choice. I got mine at a retail store but they ( all others also ) did not have the purple one my wife saw online. Ordered right from the website and, and boom, wife had the purple case for her phone. These cases add a lot of stability and make the phone more robust plus giving it a better feel than the phone without a case which felt fragile and like, slippery. My wife loves the color and added protection the Otterbox gives her new phone. Touch ID works as though there is nothing there but knowing there is a screen protector there gives a peace of mind factor that is satisfying.

We had the Otterbox defenders on our IPhone 5’s for 5 1/2 years and the customer service rep that activated our iPhone 8’s said they still looked new when he pulled the covers off. We are careful with our phones, but they had beef dropped a few times. The screen protector does a great job and doesn’t seem to affect the ability to operate the phone or send a long text message. We knew we were going to get new Otterbox protection for our new iPhones and had them ready before we activated the phones. We would not go without them. They also provide extra grip so the phones don’t slip out of your hand easily. A little harder to slip into your pocket, but well worth it.
