People can't hear me

I've only ever used the defender and when Igor my iPhone 7 I ordered one right away. People complain they can't hear me and I've heard it's a defect with the defender cases that were first made. Trying to don a solution!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the case for my phone's protection! I just wish I would have gotten a darker color. I ordered the teal color and it gets dirty fast and I can't keep it clean.

Really happy with the latest otterbox. the new design looks great and I can tell a lot more effort went into this redesign than apple did with the 7plus. The two times I dropped my phone and had otterbox damage, were taken care of and replaced both within a week, all the way from the US. There was no damage to my phones btw.

The Otterbox Defender series is the best phone case on the market. Its the only case that makes me feel comfortable using my phone. I had an iphone 5s for 3 years with an Otterbox case, and there wasn't a single scratch on it. Absolutely pristine condition. I dropped it plenty of times. The best!

This case is rugged! I love that. It’s easy to install and offers fantastic protection. It’s only flaw is a pretty big one for me. I used the phone for about a week without a case waiting for this one to arrive in the mail. The phone is so sensitive to my touch, it was so easy to send a lengthy email or to write a simple text. After installing the case I fount that the sensitive phone I loved was gone. Now it was very difficult to text let alone write an email. I found I was using dictation for everything. For some reason the plastic screen protector does not lay flat on the glass. It has the ever so slightest gap between the protective layer and the actual screen. So you must push hard enough to close that gap. That my not seem like a big deal but if you were to YouTube removing the screen protector from these cases you would not only find a ton of videos but you would see that they have been viewed by tens of thousands. So I know it’s a common issue.
I could drop my phone from my hand and I would not even check to see if anything happened to it because I know it’s that well protected. I love that! Now just to figure out if I will be one of the many to remove the included screen protector and replace it with a glass protector or not. I really think that is the route I’m going to take because I really miss how well the actual phone screen works.

The best feature is the protective cover for the glass- it is sensitive and easy to text. Dropping the phone is less likely because the otter case offers nice grip. I would not waste $ on the clip.
