I love this case. I always buy the same case fort each IPhone. I do take the touch id plastic off as it is always throwing off my touch ID. I find it not effective. As for protecttion, this is the best ever protective case that you will need.

I bought the polka dot cover and the back (design side) scratches up horribly. I'm still an otterbox and love its durability but upset with the easy scratching.

the light blue shell is extremely dirty and does not seem to clean early

This is my first Otterbox case, and I love it. I get lots of compliments on the color, and it's so much more durable than my Lifeproof case (which peeled and chipped). The only bad thing is that the light color shows dirt easier.
