I’m glad to have protection around my iPhoneSE (2nd Gen). But I find the rechargeable port is too stiff and that makes unplugging the recharge cord difficult. The sound controls are also too stiff. And it is very difficult to turn off the phone because that button cover is very stiff.
The case is very protective. The case makes accessing the controls very difficult.

I work a physical type of job. I also work in high places. My previous phone in the previous otterbox was kicked off a platform 35 ft up and didn’t have a problem. When it came time to upgrade to a newer model phone, of course I got an otterbox to match. They no longer fit in my side pocket of my carpenters jeans. Only by a small margin. It’s so frustrating to take the phone in and out of my back pocket when I used to leave it in my leg pocket getting in and out of vehicles and climbing ladders, etc. I don’t want a phone the size of a billboard - I want one that is for actual calls and texts. I’ve also had issues with some of my apps not working as well as they did before. By the time they all are updated and in sync, I’m sure Apple will make a new model and screw up the software to extort new purchases.
