customer service is non existent. no more warranty, and poor non functional website since merger of lifeproof. lifeproof was the best now otterbox has messed things up some how...?

Discintegrates after 2 Years

The rubbery exterior starts to break down and fall apart after only 2 years of use. When I purchase a case, I hope for functionality and durability, especially to avoid unnessary waste. The interior plastic cracked in multiple places as well. All of my previous case have lasted the life of my phone.

Solid protection but get ready for your phone to be a dirt magnet if you work outdoors. The great grippy texture picks up any fine dirt, and a lot of dirt gets under the plastic screen cover through the camera areas. We cut out the plastic screen cover (not sure what the purpose of that is anyways since it didn’t state anything about being shatterproof) to stop the avalanche of dirt accumulating there, and instead stuck on good screen protector. Works well now but I have to take an old toothbrush each week to wipe off the dirt on the outside grip area. Can’t have it all!

Does not keep dust out . Dust and dirt get behind the screen which makes screen look pitted . Have to take apart often to clean definitely not worth the money

Miss my life proof, not worth it

I was given this case as a replacement to my life proof… It does not hold up at all in anyway, as good as “life proof fre”. This case does not hold together at all. Many other rubber components of peeled back on it already. It is in no way waterproof.

They are different cases, by design, and the Defender Series was not designed to be a waterproof case. I bought this and have had it a week. The case is just like all other defenders EXCEPT slippery. The design on the back of the case makes slippery, making it way easier to drop! I had no idea when I ordered it that the texture would be different than a regular defender. I bought this to protect my phone. Not so that I would drop it!
