It looks like adequate protection. I would have preferred more cushioning around the screen. Had a Ballistic before this case and the protection was much better.

I bought this for my teen son because he is HORRIBLE with phones. I have an Otter case but different style. It works great against dropping of the phone BUT the plastic that protects the screen is annoying. You have to almost punch the numbers and letters to send a text or place a call. The thumb print option works sometimes as it can not read all the details of the thumbprint. Again, it’s ok because it’s saving the phone, but annoying you can barely use your phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I,ve worked for a rafting company for seven years and use my IPhone all day long. Without the protection of the OtterBox I,m sure I would have destroyed a few phones. During the season my phone is exposed to all kinds of conditions, water, heat, dust, impacts, etc. I,ve found that the OtterBox provides the protection I must have! Thanks

I trust Otter Box more than I trust my ability to not drop and damage a “naked” cell phone so the phone sat unopened until I could enclose it in my new Otter Box. The only negative I have is the difficulty I am having in pushing the sides for volume control in the left of my iPhone and the on/off button on the right is very difficult to push
