In trying to make it fit the screen sides, this product has been rendered useless and the screenless defender case along with it. Lack of adhesive surface area meant the glass came of within days, which was fine because the lost screen sensitivity has driven me nuts. A deeper lip all around the screen would have been better protection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful

It's only sticky around the edge and because the screen is curved doesn't fit right. My phone wouldn't detect all of my touches. In order for it to work I had to apply a lot of pressure. Also, because it didn't sit right, it got lots of fuzz stuck around the edge.

After reading other reviews I decided to risk buying and hope for the best. I read almost every review talk about sensitivity be ruined and the phone not working but that issue must have been fixed. Installation was super easy with plastic tabs that came with the screen. I still took my time to make sure it was right.
Now the screen is on and I don't even notice it's there. The clarity is amazing and nothing has changed whatsoever with the sensitivity. I wondered how it would work with the rounded edges but it's as if the screen protector is not even there. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to apply

I ordered the glass protector with my case for my recently replaced Galaxy Note 8. I was worried about applying a screen protector myself, but the instructions and guides provided made it super simple! My only issue was the instructions to apply the protector were stuck to the protective film of the glass. When I pulled to take them out, the adhesive came off before I could even prepare! I had to figure out how to clean lint and my fingerprints from the sticky side of the screen protector before applying! But, it got done and I am now very proud of myself and happy my replacement phone will last through my nerve-damaged hands.

Poor screen touch after fitting screen protector

I fitted an Otterbox Defender case several months ago and have been very happy with. Unfortunately PTC fiitted an expensive third party screen protector that never sealed along the edges and was not compatible with the Defender case. Recently I fitted the Otterbox Alpha glass screen protector. It was reasonably priced, was easy to fit, the fit is perfect and it is compatible with the Defender case. Unfortunately, the screen protector has caused the screen to become far less sensative, requiring a great deal more pressure to activate screen keys. I adjusted the screen sensitivity in Android but that only slightly improved sensitivity. I am very disappointed with the Otterbox Alpha Glass screen protector.
