I purchased this item because i have always loved my purchases form Otterbox, however, I am extremely disappointed with this item. It does not cover the intire face of the phone form edge to edge and also does not adhere to the phone very well at all. I will be looking for a better alternative to protect and preseve my screen in the future and am not even using this item because it is so ill fitting. This is the second item that I ordered since I thought when i received the first one from another seller that I had received the incorrect item so I am actually out the money twice for this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am a long time customer. I have always purchased the Otter Box Defender for all of my phones and tablets.
The defender case for the Note 8 is missing a screen protector. So Otter Box decided to sell it separately. Now you have to pay $$ for defender case and $$ for the screen protector. Sounds like they are just getting rich?
Problem with the Alpha Glass is that it doesn't cover the whole phone screen. So along the edge it will collect lint and dirt. Why would Otter box not make this fit under the edge of the defender case. I just makes more sense that way.

It is odd that your Alpha Glass is not fitting well with the Defender, especially considering that they are supposed to be companion pieces. The even weirder factor is the lint collecting on the sides! Not to worry - our dirt-busting Otters are here to save the day! Just call them up at 1-855-688-7269, and they'll send out a warranty replacement along with some application tricks so that this doesn't happen again.

Worst purchase ever

There are really annoying Glue Borders on the side and it doesn't cover the entire screen. But the worst thing about the screenprotector is that the Touchscreen gets very unrisponsive.

Does protect the screen but the sensitivity goes straight down the toilet. Takes forever to send messages and causes me to misspell things that I type very often.

I waited a month for the Alpha Glass and I feel like my screen is protected but I have lost a great deal of sensitivity to my screen. Also the glue shows on the edge of the screen and is a distraction from a beautiful screen. The glue that holds the protector in place also doesn't make full contact with the phone and that makes it quite difficult to type due to it being a lower corner of the glass that won't stay down.

First thing, it does not at all maintain touch sensitivity. You have to push extremely hard, which is difficult using one hand with such a big phone.
Second, it is only sticky on the sides so there is not a firm grab and will fall off every now and then.
Third and last, it does not curve around the edges as much as I would like. You can see the border around the entire screen especially on the sides, which can be annoying at times.
There are much better glass screen protectors I have seen at a lower price. I bought this because I have had good luck with otter box cases. However it is not the same for screen protectors.

The otter box defender case is awesome but the Alpha Glass Screen protector is junk very difficult to use my phone and with in a week or so cracked. I would lime my money back for the screen protector

Wasnt as good as I had hope it would have been

It makes typing or touching my screen harder to do. I have to really press down for my finger print to be recongized. But on the box it claims that the glass is sensitive. When I opened the package the glass doesn't really feel like glass its more so like Plexiglas. Expensive not worth it. Will not buy again!
