The Symmetry Clear Case is a perfect compliment to Iphone! It's slim, clear and gets the job done! Not intentionally, but often my phone has fallen and the case has taken the brunt of the fall every time. This is my second case for the same phone and Otter Box has saved me from the major expense of replacing my phone. I highly recommend this product.

As far as pieces of plastic go, this one is also plastic. The paint on the corners chipped away faster than one would expect. Nothing special, but it does cover the phone (as advertised).
