I bought this for my new iPhone 8 and was worried it wouldn’t be clear but was pleasantly surprised! I purchased the one with the glitter on the back and it looks so elegant. the case is clear so you can see the phone underneath, and the glitter is subtle (not too flashy) and shimmers in the light. Very happy with this case!

I have a 'gold' iPhone 8 and I like the pink color, so when I was looking for a case I wanted to still be able to see the pink I liked so much and paid so much for. This case is perfect! It's not plain (sparkles), but its still clear and allows the pink to really show through. I think it adds a slight yellow tint, but it's barely noticeable. The only reason it gets 4 and not 5 stars is because I always want thinner cases.

Good case...why is the power button so hard?

The case is fantastic, style and protection-wise. I drop it nearly every single day because of who I am as a person. I drop it on corners, facedown, you name it. The case does a wonderful job protecting the phone, and I feel safe with my phone inside it. However, my biggest pet peeve with this case (and it really does irritate me a lot) is that the power button is EXTREMELY hard to press. I mean, ridiculously hard. I am not a weak person by any means, but for some reason, Otterbox has made a case that does NOT want you to turn your phone screen on or off. When it comes to taking screenshots, I have to hold the phone a very specific way just to generate enough power to press this power button. The volume buttons are just fine. My best friend has the same case but in glitter, and she has the same problem. This is my only complaint with the case.

This case provides all the protection you expect from an Otterbox case with a classy design. The flecks on the back are incredibly fine, making it look more professional than your average glitter case. I haven’t have the case very long, but there are already some pretty visible scratches on the back. I can tell this will show light cosmetic damage pretty easily. Guess that’s to be expected from a clear plastic case.
