This case is not crystal clear, as the title would suggest. It's a frosted clear that makes the case appear cloudy.

Case is not clear

Just received my new "clear" otterbox for the iPhone 7 that I bought in jet black. No point on having a jet black phone with this case. The back of the case is frosted. I had a symmetry for my 6 and 6s and it was great. This case is uncomfortable to hold to face and hold as the front ridge is high rather than the rubber liner on previous models. Highly disappointed.

Turning yellow and not so clear

First I purchased for my New Black iPhone 7 and wanted a clear case...well this case is more like a fog. The black is washed out because the case isn't crystal clear like it says. Second is it's front side that was clear is now turning yellow. Protection is good that's about all that's good.

Do not buy if you have the Jet Black Phone

I bought this case in the T-Mobile store when I upgraded to the iPhone 7 Jet Black in the middle of November 2016. It's only February 2nd, 2017 and the case is already turning a yellow tint. I am very disappointed since I always bought Otterbox phone cases in the past. I would of thought they used a higher quality material since the case cost a lot more then the cheaper companies on the internet. I was reading their warranty and apparently the customer has to provide the shipping cost and taxes to get a new one! That's bananas! Why would the customer have to pay any fee when the case faded due to cheap material. I do not recommend this case. Look at the pictures provided and you'll see.

YELLOWING

I bought this for my new iPhone 7 and have been using it for about 5 months and it is so yellow. I was promised it would not yellow! I do not recommend this product.

This case would have been great except it's not clear enough for the jet black iPhone. It looks great on the rose gold and the silver iPhone but looks horrible on the jet black iPhone.

Pretty Polka Dots

I own more phone cases than I care to admit and I'm a big fan of Otterbox Symmetry (I have several). I wanted to review this case because it is actually much prettier in person than it is in the pictures. The darker pink dots toward the bottom are not a purple/mauve color; they are just a medium shade of pink. And each pink polka dot has a pretty light rose gold colored shadow behind it that you can't see in the photos. This case is perfect for a rose gold phone. I don't know how this will hold up to scratching on the back, but it's quite pretty. It has sort of a Kate Spade look with Otterbox protection. Very nice.

I bought this phone case about a month ago now and I was in love when it came, I still am. Although after a bit of wear the rubber part starts going yellow/brown. Thinking it was dirt I attempted to clean it to no success, then I looked into it and saw that many people have the same problem. After half a year of use people's rubber on the cases goes a dark brown. Maybe it's the rubber changing colour from the heat of the phone or something, I don't know. Although the quality of protection the case gives is unreal and the case looks stunning at first, I'm afraid the same thing with the rubber will happen to me and a few months wear from such an expensive case is not ideal.
