I'm very disappointed with this case from Otterbox...it's not very clear, and there are clearer cases that are protective but slimmer around the edges of iPhone 7. The other thing I didn't like about the case was the sleep/wake and volume buttons were very hard to press as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When they said clear it should be clear not an opaque back not making the back of the phone visible so essentially not a clear case

This case is very sturdy without being bulky, which I love. I also like that it's clear so I can see the pretty color of my phone! My only complaint is that it's a little pricey, but if it holds up over time as well as protects my phone, I'm sure it'll be worth it!

I have been using this case for a few weeks now. I have not used any clear cases in the past, so this is my first experience with one. When researching the case, it seems that most of the negatives are about the slight frosted texture on the case. This seems to be more problematic with the black phones or some of the other colors. I have the silver iPhone and I am satisfied with the look. I am pretty careful with my phone so this case more than meets my protection needs. I would definitely recommend this case for those with silver iPhones with moderate protection needs.
