The Joule sous vide immersion circulator is the best out there. I bought mine over four years ago. It’s still works perfectly. It is beautiful, functional, and smaller than the competitors. In combination with the Joule app or Breville app, it is extremely easy to use. Some people complain that there is not a control on the unit itself. I have never found it needs one. Every single one of my cooks have gone flawlessly. It holds the exact temperature you set in the app. I know, because I have checked it with laboratory quality thermometers. I appreciate the magnetic foot base. It is more useful than you might imagine. Not only do I use it when I do short cooks in metal pots, but when I do longer cooks in plastic Sous vide containers, I usually set the plastic container on my stove and the metal base of the Joule holds it in place from the stoves metal grates. I have found the Joule to be so superior that I sold my Anova, and replaced it with a second Joule.
Reliable, small, good looking, no fuss, no mess. We've loved our Joule for years! We now have 2... One at the RV for the summer season. Lots of jealous neighbors:)
