I am impressed with how easy this is to use. Everything I have cooked came out just as advertised. It is also quite small and stores easily in a kitchen drawer.

Joule Sous Vide is excellent!!!

I love my Joule sous vide. It is extremely easy to use with the app, and it cooks excellent food. I would highly recommend this product to anyone thinking of purchasing a sous vide device.

Love the app

I bought my 2.5 years ago. Love the way it cooks chicken, steak, and turkey. Finally broke down though sad it didn't last longer due to the price you paid for it.

Great but could be better

I've owned it for years and have cooked many delicious meals. What stops this from having 5 stars is the lack of controls/screen on the device itself. Rarely one experiences connectivity issues with the app, but that wouldn't be an issue if it had a screen/controls. I sometimes want to throw it in a pot and get the water heating ASAP, but I have to go fetch my phone, start the app, have it connect, then enter the temperature to have it start. if the top of the device worked like a Nest Thermostat, I could simply twist the ring and done.
Yes, there's definitely benefits to having the app integration, so please keep that - but people have a version with physical controls. I'll gladly pay more for it.
Lastly, does the app support more than one Joule going at once? That's not clear to me, but I'd be great to support two so that I may cook vegetables and meat at different temperatures.

What a terrific sous vide appliance. Compact. Efficient. Great app. It has a tad bit of trouble connecting occasionally. But, over the last couple of years, this has improved.
