Absolutely love Joule

I absolutely love using Joule, but sometimes connecting it to my phone via WiFi becomes an issue. Other than that minor detail using Joule has been a fantastic experience so far.

Works great however, it loses connectivity between my phone and unit via the app quite regularly lately. Only remedy is to remove the device and setup as new.

I do enjoy a lot and recomend Joule! It perform like it was designed for, and the App and content provided by ChefSteps are amazing. Cook like a pro at home. Its design is also awesome. Compact and functional.

So Close To Perfect

Love my Joule, was a great purchase. Heats up quickly, the app is very nice, and (most importantly) it makes delicious food. There are a couple of niggles though. I can never seem to get the Echo integration to work properly, which is annoying because you can't set the Joule to do anything without an app on your phone. Tough when my partner wants to use it and I'm not around (she doesn't have the app installed.) I wish the app and the website more closely mirrored each other. I could easily find an egg temperature and time calculator on their site, but I couldn't find the same thing from within the app. Maybe it was there, but I couldn't find it. I've also noticed that ChefSteps doesn't seem to be adding as much new content to the site as it used to. I'm not sure if this is just my perception and not reality, but I think they could use more guides and recipes for the joule. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of content available, but I'm greedy. Again, the above or just minor complaints. The existing site and app are beautiful and very well done. The device is great (a display and manual controls are the only things missing.) The food you can make with the combination is wonderful. It could just use a little bit more to make it perfect.
