I love my Joule. Steaks, pork chops, chicken and egg dishes are amazing. I haven't tried the dessert recipes, but I love the soups vide cooking method.

Wifi?

For the most part, I'm very happy with my Joule. Something one should consider before purchasing is the unit only works if you use a smart phone or tablet; that is, you cannot use it manually. I hope that I always hav a device on had in the future that works with the Joule because it will not work without one.

A really good culinary method

By and large the Joule does exactly what it was promoted to do. I especially found it useful this Winter in my poorly ventilated kitchen when I could prepare foods like fish and steaks with little or no cooking smells. The results have been great. The reduced risk of overlooking is also a plus I do have some issues with the controls and instructions. They are too rigid and do not permit enough flexibility in adapting to different quantities and foods. A substantial price for an additional cookbook was, I thought, a rip-off. I nevertheless recommend this equipment.
