ChefSteps is the easiest way to great food. Beware, once you start using ChefSteps, you will become increasingly disappointed in restaurant food. When your friends ask you out to dinner you will start begging them to let you cook for them instead.

I pre-ordered my Joule, Chef Steps let me know when it shipped, and I recieved it in excellent condition. Unfortunately the clip broke loose from the body.When I let the company know what happened they sent me a brand new one, would not let me send the old one back. Now I have two Joules, the magnet on the damaged one works in my cast iron Dutch oven. Both function as advertised, now I can prepare a vegetable at higher temperature and a protein at a lower one. I have come to enjoy new recipes cooked in a very controlled manner.
