Complete Your Kitchen and Eat Delicious

I was an early adopter and an early convert to sous vide after reading Modernist Cuisine. I've enjoyed cooking for my friends and family with Joule. I've given three as gifts and greatly pleased every giftee. I Jouled pork chops from Butcher Box just last night, finishing with a blowtorch. My son declared, "Best pork ever." Controlling Joule from the iPhone app is a bit more effort than if the controls were mounted on Joule. But if the controls were mounted on Joule, she would be much larger, uglier and more difficult to store. As it is I wrap the cord around her slender white cylinder and tuck her in a drawer discreetly out of the way. And unobtrusive. ChefSteps provides superlative customer service and the video recipes have enlightened and amused me for hours. I include a premium membership with each Joule I gift. The only other brands I love as much are Apple and Dyson.

I love how sleek Joule is and how versatile it is which allows me to use it with different kinds of pans. I also like how quickly it heats up. And the website is great.

great tool and is very good value compared to a poly science model. Only criticism I have is the non intuitive way it transitions when leaving your wifi area. Took some time getting used to how to check to ensure the device was still functioning when I was not home.

Works as advertised. Heats faster than my PolyScience home unit and is easier to program. I like the accompanying software which can be adapted to your own recipes and especially the recipes in the app that are super easy to follow.
