I have been using the Torrent blender frequently, and it works wonderfully. I love the settings on the dial, which makes the process very easy. The only complaint I have is that the carafe isn't released easily from the unit. It takes a bit of work. It is also a heavy unit, but the good news is that while it is on it does not wobble, move, or shake! The unit stays in place.
I highly recommend this product.

Bought on a whim and glad I did. I like smoothies and this makes them well (although it does take time to do (lots of ingredients to fine and then add and the cycle takes a minute or so). Bur now I do not have to travel a few miles to get a smoothy. recipe book for smoothies leaves something to be desired burt is OK>

Overall I have been happy with this blender. However,like anything, there are pros and cons which I have stated below;

It is much larger than I had anticipated so it takes up more space.
It is very loud, when it revs up to full speed to finish the job it gets extremely loud. I live in an apartment and hope my neighbors can't hear it.
I've found that for smoothies, if you don't have enough liquids it will stall and you have to stop it at least twice to use a spatula to mix things or add more liquid. Otherwise, it will not budge.

This Torrent is such a joy to use. It makes creating smoothies, soups, icy drinks, sauces, etc. so easy and fun. My husband and I have been eating so many more vegetables and fruits than we did before. I would recommend this blender to anyone who wants to make preparing healthy, delicious food a much easier process!

Liquid leaks into the base

We have just recently bought this blender and after putting few times to the dishwasher liquid is in the base. We took out the plug and purged the base with fresh water however it will take ages to get dry again, if at all.
Now we have recognized that the blender is taken out of the program, but unfortunately still sold via retailers. Unfortunately a not very well designed equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
