Fluid leaks into the base

Put it a few times in the dishwasher and now the base is always dirty « from the inside ».

Fluid leaked into base

While I love the power - I was heartbroken to see fluid leaked into the base which cannot be taken apart. I had really babied my blender, so cleaned it by hand - never bumped it or anything...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am absolutely impressed. At first I was hesitant to spend the money but I do not regret it now.
Have been using it for almost two months and everything I tried, including recipes from the book that comes with it, was simply perfect. Had a few different blenders before and always had to fight to make peanut butter for example. This KitchenAid Torrent Blender made peanut butter just like would make a simple smoothie.
I cannot say enough how satisfied I am.
I highly recommend this product.

Best Blender ever!

This blender is So powerful it scared me when it came up to full speed. But surprisingly there was no shaking of the appliance or walking on the counter. It is solidly made, a little heavy for me. I love that you can set it to one of the pre-set drinks & walk away. Another feature is 1 drop of liquid soap to 1/2 container of water & set to icy drinks & it cleans itself. The magnet is powerful & the jar clicks into place when you slide it in correctly. Also the lever on the side clicks into a spot on the side of the jar. A recipe book came with all kinds of recipes for appetizers, soups, meals, juices, milkshakes, coffee drinks and even hard liquor drinks. That was a nice surprise! The sugar pearl color looks nice with stainless appliances. This blender seems like it will last for many years of heavy use. It's pricey but worth it.
