Performance it's grate and powerful. Just it's so Noisy, sounds like a jet turbine. Actually this one I got its the second one due I have to change the first one due it just wasn't work. So I got the second and works pretty well.

I've had my eye on the torrent before it was even released. So glad I got it! It's awesome. I use it daily for my shakeology and made shaved ice for my nieces and nephew! Can't wait to make all the awesome recipes that are in the cook book that came with the blender!!

I bought this blender after doing a price check on other blenders. In my opinion the new Whirlpool blender does what I need it to do at a price that is much lower in cost for the more costly blenders on the market. My only complaint is the Whirlpool blender does not come with a (Plunger per say) means of pushing the food further into the blending area when it gets hung up in the top where you insert the food to be blended. I was told the reason for this is to keep you from putting anything through the top that could interfere with the blending. Actually with what I was told really does not stop a person from using a fork or other utensil to get the job done. My thoughts are, why not have an apparatus that comes with the blender and construct the "Plunger" per say that is just long enough to push the food on through the top to be blended? Problem solved?!
I would've given this blender the highest rating possible, but do to the fact this blender does not come with a means of pushing the food further into the blending area is a cause in my opinion for this lower rating. Overall the blender is excellent doing what it does best. Blending the food!

If you can get past the Price it's a NO brainier.... This Blender can handle anything you can throw at it. I think it could maybe even handle the kitchen sink if you tossed it in there. This has more power & mixing capability than you will ever need. A MUST BUY....
