Received for Christmas. Makes great coffe quickly and easily. I have used siphon coffee makers before and this one is the best. Coffe is great. Never any "burned" flavor. Cleaning is easy for this type of coffee maker and the filter is excellent

I enjoy this style of brewing as it produces a very favorable coffee. The issue I have with this product is it does not have a mode to keep the coffee hot after brewing. If making a full pot, you need to transfer the coffee to a thermos if you don't serve it all within a short time

I received this as a gift and was so happy with the coffee. I’m a coffee addict and Starbucks was my daily go to. Not anymore. This machine is simple and the coffee is superb. And I don’t have to drive to get a inferior cup of joe. No joking.

Wonderful coffee, But...

I've wanted a siphon coffee brewer for many years and when or coffee maker died it was time to get one.
The appearance is great, the coffee it makes is wonderful, but cleaning it is nothing less than arduous. The instructions say you should just dump the brewed coffee grounds into a waste basket and that it may take a gentle tap for the ground release.
Well about 65% did come out and the remainder stayed stuck to the brew unit and only released in the washing process.

The best tasting coffee I have made at home, and it is fun to watch it brew.
Cleaning is not really that difficult, just a bit time consuming. All in all a great product that produces a great cup of coffee. I am hooked!

The Bomb!

This is my third vacuum brewer. It is the best way to prepare coffee. I do have a few hacks that make it even better. Once the water has entered the upper chamber, I give it a stir. This gets the coffee that is floating on top of the water (and not being extracted) wet. When the switch flips off and the vacuum begins to pull the coffee into the lower chamber, I flip the switch again and run it for another cycle (you need to wait a minute or two before it'll let you turn it back on). After the second brew cycle, I give it a little stir just before the coffee is sucked back into the lower chamber. The result is so good you will never drink anything else ever again.

I have heard about vacuum brewing (siphon brewing), but have never tried it. I usually drink my coffee through a french press, but wanted something that would be able to brew more coffee at once, rather than just a couple of cups with the french press. I was also looking for something that would brew a little quicker than waiting for a kettle of water to heat up. This blew my mind the first time I used it. It was so simple, quick and even fun to watch it in action. I was a little skeptical of the price that I was paying, but after using it for a couple of weeks the price was well worth the product. The Coffee is strong and tastes great, it shuts down before the brewing process is done so it will never burn the coffee - I hate burnt, bad tasting coffee!!! I would recommend this product to anyone that is serious about their brew and enjoys a fine cup of coffee as this coffee brewer delivers.
