Makes the best Coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made of cheep glass, handles break, cannot replace parts when broken.. good coffee maker still makes for a show.. cheep cheep cheep they don't sell parts for this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great if double boiled

A modernized classic brewer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Siphon brewing is still the best method to extract the delicate flavors of light roast coffees. Most modern siphon brewers take a lot of work, not this one. It's as close to automatic as it gets. It seems built to last, and is beautiful next to the matching KitchenAid Kettle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes excellent cup of coffee. Easy to clean (I do not use the cloth filters). I use Kitchenaid burr coffee grinder and get great results.

Amazing coffee, poor quality of materials

Got this coffee maker as a gift and the coffee is amazing when you use it. The globe broke just from cleaning (it had been on its stand all day) and I can’t make coffee now.
To my understanding they do not make replacement parts as I would love to continue to use this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent product, great coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used an antique stove-top vacuum pot with a glass filter for years because it’s the best cup of coffee ever... this automatic version takes the guesswork out, and also alleviates the problem of the upper bowl getting into a vapor lock and never draining. Really happy I found this! Now I can put the antique on display... My only negative comments are it’s messy cleaning the grounds out of the upper chamber because of the narrow opening, and it’s a bit pricey compared to competing brands, but I expect this well-made appliance from one of my favorite brands will stand the test of time, just like my fridge and stand mixer!
