The worst fridge I’ve ever owned

We got this fridge with our new house in November. Will throw out food every day due to the fact that it freezes. We had two technicians come out. The second technician jimmied it to the air only came from the top. That caused our freezer to go out. Gave us a new fridge a month ago same fridge unfortunately and the same stuff is still happening our food is still freezing and has to be thrown out. And we do have it on the correct temperature due to the fridge manufacturer.

Overall love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fridge except for a couple of minor things. The fridge part in places runs so cold it freezes things sometimes. The other thing is the ice maker always ends up putting water and ice bits in the tray and on the floor. Some of that might be user error. Would still say a great fridge though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 11-year old refrigerator from another company with this Frigidaire model. There are many nice features such as the ability to reconfigure all of the internal shelving and drawers. Plus, it's the small things like the positioning of the water tube that makes filling glasses and water bottles easier (our old fridge had it set back too far which led to a lot of misses). The replacement filter is also easily accessible. We have no no issues with temperature setting and the controls are easy and intuitive. We are very happy so far and look forward to may years of use and have the comfort of knowing that Frigidaire will to back its products.

Best counter depth measurement available on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for one reason only…I don’t like refrigerators sticking out so far from the counter and many times sticking out into the walking area. So looked at all counter depths and this one does not protrude so depth fantastic. I also didn’t get the water in the door because I knew I was losing space by getting counter depth. we do have ice maker. It works fine and cools like it should. The french doors can be a pain as not always close properly so usually user error but something you have to take note of if this is your first french door. Thank goodness for the alarm which saves us at least once a week. The freezer is okay. It freezes. I find it small and mine is jam packed. When I pull out freezer shelf stuff typically falls down. Ice maker works fine. Again because I probably have too much in the freezer we have to catch ourselves as the drawer might not close fully due to something sticking up in its way and in this case there is no alarm on freezer door being left open. So you learn how to work within the parameters. My husband hates it due to the freezer and food falling behind etc…and while I don’t like it I can make it work. Why? Because the refrigerator looks a million times better than the deep ones sticking out from your cabinets and being the first thing you notice in a kitchen. So to sum it up…YES I would buy this again unless a few more companies start reducing the size of their counter depth refrigerators relative to the size of a counter which typically is 24 inches deep. How someone can call a refrigerator counter depth that is 31 inches deep is beyond me. I have had refrigerator for six years and never had it serviced. I like the fresh food compartment. And again I have too much in my freezer but that’s my problem. We do not have a second frig or freezer. So depending on your kitchen set-up and whether or not you need the extra inches…it’s worth the idiosyncrasies!
