A little disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't believe that the water comes out unchilled! I thought something was wrong with the water feature but when I looked in the manual there was a tiny box that said the water is not cold, to use ice or a chilled glass. I've never heard of water coming out unchilled. Also, be careful putting items too close to the ice maker, it will freeze them (that's in the refrigerator section). I like the drawers in both the fridge and freezer sections and it fits perfectly in my space

Great products; has issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From initial delivery, issues with ice maker and freezer door. Ice maker donut rubber seal did not seal, so there was a leak inside the fridge. Freezer door makes a loud click when opening. Best freezer I've ever had though, ice cream is hard. And the black stainless is very sexy, for a fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice but some issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge looks good but it makes a lot of strange noises, especially after closing the doors every time. It's a wheezing whining down noise. Also, the ice machine stopped making ice after 6 months. Bought and changed the water filter but it did nothing, still working on the issue, so no ice. It's ok but would not buy again.

Great Refrigerator!

This one had many features I wanted and was counter depth also. My kitchen cabinets are gray and the side of this refrigerator are gray. WOW, I lucked out. Some reviewers were stating how much they could fit in this refrigerator and I thought yea the must not have a lot. But, WOW, I empty the spare refrigerator and still had lots of room for more. I love this refrigerator.

Time will tell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this fridge less than a month. It was coated in a plastic film that was extremely difficult to remove. It still has plastic showing in quite a few areas. Last fridge lasted 7 yrs. and the repairman recommended Frigidaire. If I had realized How much the finish shows smudges and fingerprints I would have picked a different Finnish. The dust cover in back is a low grade cardboard and was ripped by the installer when trying to find a water leak. The plastic for drawers and shelves looks like it would be easy to break.The fridge made a loud non typical high speed tapping noise for a little less than a minute once but that has not happened again since. Didn't notice the shelves were not extendable in the store. The controls are difficult to see. There is no alarm when leaving the door open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We understand that removing the protective plastic can be tedious. Using warm water and mild soap with a soft cloth can certainly help alleviate this matter. Also, this model comes with a door ajar alarm. If the freezer or fresh food doors have been left open for five minutes or more, an alarm will sound and the door ajar indicator will illuminate on the display.
Although your refrigerator is not smudge-proof, you are able to clean the exterior using soap and water or a non-abrasive cleaner, to resolve any smudges that can possibly appear on the finish.

Poorly made

First time I bought at Frigidaire and will be the last time. Poorly made The crisper's freezing bags of lettuce , followed instructions in your manual , made no difference. Roller on one of the crisper's snapped off. This all happen with 6-8 months after purchase. Several emails, had your local warranty company, come out. The technician stated we needed a new board and this was his 5th board he had to replace for other customers.. 2 weeks later still waiting for parts because they are on back order.

Huge Disappointment

A repairman will be making his third trip to try to repair this. The ice maker has not worked correctly since we first purchased it. Plus I have lost an enormous amount of food from the refrigerator because it froze. If it is not fixed this week I want it replaced as soon as possible. (Understand why the product has been discontinued, it is horrible.)
