2nd Slide Assembly

I have been happy with the fridge portion of this, however the freezer slide assembly has broken twice on this (Once about 3 month in, and again last week). I am nearing the end of my warranty and I'm afraid I will be replacing these slide assemblies several more times out of my pocket. This last time the lower slide assembly broke just from the food in the freezer basket and dropped the freezer onto my foot. When it fell it also broke the switch for the light/lamp and cracked the liner on the freezer, this is allowing cold air to access the condenser, pumps and water supply line and froze my water line, the water is not working now and the ice tastes like melted plastic. I feel like all of this could have been avoided if the slides were made out of metal, instead of the plastic that breaks very easily. I think a new fridge is needed over this small plastic piece breaking. I hope I can resolve this before the end of my warranty period.

Freezes food , lots of condensation and makes loud popping noises all the time

The refrigerator has been freezing food since we got it. The repair person has been here three times. He replaced two major parts and it still is freezing my food in the refrigerator. Lots of condensation and ice at the bottom when I remove the long tray on the bottom. I have it set at 40 degrees! I cannot afford another refrigerator. I have had other brands and they have worked fine for years. The company does not seem to care. It also makes disturbing popping noises at all different times of the day.

Door is garbage

Only draw back and the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the ice tray is a little small and the ice maker struggles to keep up. But have only run into this issue when we have our large family over for events, otherwise it’s perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with our purchase, just haven't figure out how to use the ice maker without pieces of ice missing the glass and shooting onto the floor! Lots of decent storage space, but some items seem to freeze when in the back of the fridge - even when set to 38 degrees. Love the spots for frozen pizzas in the freezer!

The fridge is taller than Frigidare claims

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model because it was the only French Door Fridge that would fit under my cabinets according to Frididaire’s published measurements for this model. Unfortunately, the measurements on Frigidaire’s website were smaller than the actual fridge. We had to modify our upper cabinet which is what we were trying to avoid—and were under the impression that the fridge would be as short as Frigidaire’s measurements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
