Nice ac

Bought this in Aug and it is pretty quiet, cools nicely, and I love the low profile so there is a lot more window for the light to come in....esp in the winter since I leave the unit in year round.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for cooling a small room

I got this as a gift. As a means to reduce bills and only cool one room on the house this is great. The only downer is that the one vent only blows straight up and finding an adapter to redirect the air was difficult for me. Also this unit should come with at least a replacement or reusable filter as that part is also hard to find and makes the unit less efficient. It's also kind of loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not crazy about it.

I bought this based on it's energy efficiency, it's low profile, and because it was advertised as being quiet. Well, I tried it the first night in a small bedroom and could not use it on the energy savings economy mode. It would not keep the room cool on this mode. It did keep the room cool in the cool mode but that defeats the "energy efficient rating". It was not quiet and it was difficult to install. The instructions are not good. Because it is low profile it has a channel for the upper sash to sit in. The instructions specify to install with a slight grade outward to drain unit. This became a nightmare because once you close the sash into the channel it levels itself. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great

Bought one to try in a smaller room and it works great, so good I bought another for the room on the other end of the house that gets the hot afternoon sun and still works great. Very quiet and the lower profile looks much better than the big gawdy units.

Best Air Conditioner

I bought this air conditioner about one month ago and it's the best purchase I've ever made. As hot as it's been where I live, I turn this on and within just a short time, my downstairs rooms are cooled off. Works great. I may purchase another one for upstairs.

Great fit for small windows and very powerful

So far I have purchased (3) of these units for my home. The low profile unit makes the fit in my windows perfect. Feels like the power of a 10,000 BTU unit. Beats central air conditioning!
