Very Silent

I was very happy when I purchase this item 2 months ago however is not efficient it doesn't cool our room I'm disappointed for the price I paid for

We would like to advise that your air conditioner is designed to cool an area of approximately 250 sq. ft. if you have an open floor plan or are cooling an area larger than that you may find the area does not cool as effectively. Love the vertical air flow!

Fantastic Small Window Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter bought me this small air conditioner when it was blazing hot and humid this past summer. I love this unit. It comes with a small remote control for convenience. The unit runs very quietly and efficient. It cools a large master bedroom very well. I was pleasantly surprised at how energy efficient it was. I was afraid my electric bill would skyrocket using a window air conditioner but it did not. Great unit. No complaints. I highly recommend this particular model.

Bought 2 A/C's in March, put in window this week. So of course I can't return them. Basically worthless, wouldn't cool a shoebox in December.

Terrible Design

I bought this unit because of it's low profile, so it would fit in a small window. However the designer's of this item really messed up. First, even with the airflow directed fully forward, the airflow goes almost straight up, not out into the room. Second, the remote control has no readout on it, so in order to see what temperature it's set at, you have to look at the display on the unit. Unfortunately, the display is mounted horizontally, so you have to be standing right over it to see it. So the remote is virtually worthless. Finally, because the airflow goes straight up, it bounces off the ceiling and back down to the unit, so it doesn't maintain the set temperature throughout the room. It just keeps cycling the compressor off and on. You have to set temp much lower than actually desired. (63 to maintain 68 in the room). If I could find another low profile unit, I'd get rid of this.

Extremely poor sleep with this noisy AC unit

I've purchased Frigidaire FFRL0633Q1 AC a couple months ago. I got the package and everything seems to be fine, besides the fact that it produces very strange and annoying noise on mid and low speeds.
