So Much Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old is into Hot Wheels due to his big brother being an avid Hot Wheels collector. My 5 year old was over the moon when he saw this Hot Wheels Super Ultimate Garage Play Set.
First off, this thing is pretty big! My 5 year old is pretty tall, and it's almost as tall as him. It's also a bit wide, so be sure to check the dimensions as it takes up a lot of room.
My husband and 5 year old put this garage together. It's fairly easy to put together, but it is a little time consuming. However, it takes under 30 minutes to put together.
Once it was put together, my son played with it straight away. (My husband had to go out and buy 4 D batteries so the tower on the side went round and the gorilla moved up and down the tower.) The tower and gorilla are my son's favorite part of the garage although he really loves the track too. I love that it came with a few cars to play with too. The track is easy to play with and stays together really well. It also is a great place to store other Hot Wheels cars when not in use.
This is a fantastic toy that will provide hours of entertainment. My son plays with it daily, so it's definitely not one of those toys that will just be forgotten about. The Hot Wheels Super Ultimate Garage Play Set is great value for money!

Super ultimate waste of money

Bought this for my son for Christmas and we are very dissapointed. I thought it looked really cool and he would now have a place to store some of his 300+ cars. It's a great design (in theory) but it simply doesn't work. I spend more time unjamming cars and stopping that awful motor noise than playing it. Only a very small percentage of his cars actually work with the auger, which is dissapointing. They don't always make it to the bottom either because the walls on the tracks arent high enough and they fly off the side. Some of the tracks came with stress bends in them and don't connect very well either. You also have to watch out for the gorilla, because when it gets to the top, it just slams all the way down and fast. Little hands can get hurt easily. If it wasnt for my son being 3 and thinking Santa brought it, I'd get rid of it . For $200, this shouldn't have so many issues. Very very unhappy. The shark ultimate garage he just got works great, but this set is making me rethink future purchases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got the garage 2019 Christmas and the gorilla makes a loud noise half way up the elevator the parts for the short ramp at the top doesn’t clamp to properly and also the end of the track doesn’t clamp properly gorilla is very loud when it drops and my son can’t take loud noise as others said very expensive product for such a rushed outcome of putting it on the market

Fun Toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was super excited to get this toy. She had to wait a little while for it to get put together, but even though it took some time, it came together fairly easily.
What is cool about the product is that there are two lanes for cars to race down. If you turn it on, there is a spinner on the side that will take cars up to the top and the gorilla goes up with it too as it seems to chase these cars! If the release is down, once the cars get to the top, they will automatically go around the track and can continue on its own and start the process all over again! You can also line up many cars to go all at once, which is a lot of fun. Another nice thing about this toy is that it holds about 140 cars in the parking spaces! So it is a great way to store all your cars. There are also lots of levers that you can switch around how the cars can move around on the track, which gives this toy a lot of versatility.
Just a few things to beware of when getting the Super Ultimate Garage. It is a huge box and when it arrives, you can see exactly what it is, just in case you are getting this as a gift. The item when put together takes up a lot of space, too. Also, the way the track is, not all cars are going to fit. Some of the ones are too thick, so the flatter cars work the best.
All in all, this toy has been a lot of fun for our entire family.

Fun toy while it lasted

We bought this for my boys and it was great until the gorilla broke by itself ( it drops and the wheels came loose on back, now it won’t go up). The car throwing plates at the end of the track barely throw any cars off. Very disappointing toy for the price of it, and wish replacement parts could be purchased to fix it without having to buy a new one.

Super Fun for All!

At first glance, I initially thought I would be intimidated by all the pieces but I was thankful for the colorful, organized and clear instructions! There is also a YouTube video to assist anyone who needs a little extra help. This set includes 4 cars and hours of fun for all! I enjoyed all of the driving excitement, as well as my 2 daughters! This set also allows plenty of imaginative play! I would highly recommend this, the amount of fun and busy play makes up for all the space it takes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 8 year old for Christmas. It was his favorite gift and he has played with it every day since. His favorites parts are the gorilla that climbs the side tower and drops when it gets to the top and the raceways. It also stores ALOT of cars. My husband said it was easy to put together, only took about 20 minutes (and much of that time was getting all the pieces out of the box) and there were only about 7 stickers to apply. The negatives are that this item is very large and takes up quite a lot of floor space. It's also best to have 2 people to move it, especially if it is full of cars. My son also wishes the plane on top could be removed at will, but it is permanent. It is a very sturdy set though and stays together when moved. Overall we are very happy with this item as it has kept our son very entertained and we feel he will get a lot of use out of it!
