Gorilla broke pretty quick...

Within a couple months the gorilla broke. When it did work, it often got stuck anyway. For the price, I would expect it to last longer. This was our first big hot wheels playset, so I’d probably think twice about buying another one.

Gorilla broke the first week

I bought this for my sons birthday... he was so excited. He played with it for a week and no the gorilla is stuck and won't move. We paid a ton of money for this and his heart is broken. I have been searching online to see if I can fix it myself but have not been able to find any how to instructions yet. I feel horrible because he loves this thing so much and now it does not work.

lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old loves this garage. he races cars down the track over and over again. He also tries very hard to make the gorilla knock cars out of the sprial, he finds it funny. We had to fill each parking spot with a different car as soon as we got it together. It was very easy to assemble, I did it myself in less than a half hour. We also spent time trying to figure out which car would get knocked out of the race at the bottom of the track. We have spent countless hours playing with this garage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cars getting stuck

Got this for our son’s birthday. It’s huge, and nice, son loves it. But the cars gets stuck on the spinning elevator by the gorilla, even it its the real hot wheels cars. Also the straight track doesn’t fit too well which makes the cars get stuck. Probably could have been tested more. Assembly instructions and packing makes it easy to understand, except for the downward ramp instructions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Momma did Santa make a mistake?

We loved this until the gorilla stopped working a few days ago. I was sad to see signing on here to look at how to fix it that this is an issue many people are having. My son is so sad and thinks Santa gave him a broken toy! This Mom is not to thrilled to have spent a lot of money for a toy to break so quickly!

Disappointed

My son got this toy from Santa. It was the only thing he wanted for Christmas and had been asking for it for so long. We have been playing with it daily for the last month. A lot of cars get stuck as they move up the lift, but we are able to get them out. However, yesterday the gorilla stopped being able to move up the track jamming the lift leaving it useless. We absolutely loved this toy to begin with, but now a month later is doesn’t work. We paid $200 for this toy and now it’s broken.

Not built to last

My kids got this for Christmas. After playing with it for 2 weeks it stopped working. We changed the batteries but it was still not functioning. I think the on/off switch might have gotten jammed. For something so expensive, it was not built to last.

The gorilla keeps breaking

Brought for Christmas, but the Gorilla broke , a screw came loose and the Gorilla will no longer work (it won't ascend or fall; it gets stuck). We tried reinserting the screw, but it will not stay in. Needless to say, we're disappointed and would love to get it fixed or replaced!
