Excellent Xmas Gift

This is great for keeping the kids entertained for hours. It's HUGE but should last at least a year in their bedroom. I love the race, elevator and jet. Perfect for holding his dozens of cars too.

Nice toy but super annoying as it get jammed const

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son received this for Xmas yesterday, he loves it but I can’t stand it. While he plays with it I get to spend the time sitting on the floor unjamming cars from spiral. About every 30 seconds the horrible grinding sound of a car jammed in the spiral occurs and I get to fish it out and the cycle continues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this product!

I bought this 4 months ago and my almost 5 year old loves it! The Wal-Mart exclusive pterodactyl is A huge bonus as well! The monkey did break however I called Mattel and no questions asked they are fixing the issue for us! Awesome product and company!

My Five Year Old's New Favorite Toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To say my five year old is obsessed with this thing would be an understatement. He'd rather play with it than eat, which is another favorite thing of his to do. So many fun features: The little part that flings the car that loses the race down the ramp off the track, the airplane, the rotating platform, the gorilla. One minor (very minor) annoyance for him is that there's a piece in the ramp with little dangly pieces that hang down that sometimes don't move enough for a car to pass through - working on loosening them up a bit, but it was easy enough to remove that piece for now.
Know that this thing is HUGE - it eats up a lot of space in his playroom, but it's absolutely worth it not only for the play value, but as a place to store his collection of cars (it holds up to 140). It's a fantastic toy I think he'll play with for years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Son LOVES it but quality of assembly is lacking

My son has had this for a total of 2 weeks now and he LOVES it! I was really hesitant to purchase this because of the cost but this is my sons new favorite toy and it will get lots of use.
The elevator unit on the left is very picky about the cars that it uses so I had to get together all of my sons cars and sort through them to find the ones that don't flip over or get jammed and I put the ones that don't work so well with this setup into the other room to avoid confusion.
My only MAJOR complaint is how the gorilla is assembled from the factory. There are 4 screws on the gorilla assembly. 2 of the screws have come loose and got jammed on the up and down tracks for the gorilla. I was able to get the gorilla off the track but there is NO WAY to put these screws back into place because they have flat heads - there is no where for a screwdriver. I could try to super glue these things back into place but if the super glue gets on the rollers then the gorilla won't work. Very poor design feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

My son saw this toy in a catalog and talked about it for months, so we bought it for him for Christmas.The spiral elevator jams, the cars get jammed in the chute under the airplane, the motor is loud, and the gorilla sliding down the tower is so loud and annoying that my 3-year old asked me to take it off! Cars would fall out of the spiral (on our heads if we weren't careful), but I figured out how to stop that. After ONE WEEK of play, the spiral has started making an annoying clicking sound about every three seconds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely Unhappy

I bought the Super Ultimate Garage Playset for my Grandson’s Birthday & he was very excited. However, within the first 10 minutes, after the elevator jammed up a few dozen times, we extremely disappointed in it’s mechanical operation. After paying $169 & spending hours to snap this play set together, it has brought nothing but frustration instead of hours of fun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
