Poor quality

We bought this for Christmas last year. The gorilla never worked right, rarely able to climb the tower. The ramps came apart when a car went down them. The front side does not provide enough support to keep the surface stable. Couldn’t be used to store cars on the flat areas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Santa brought this for our 8yo daughter and it does not disappoint! So much fun, we've all had so much fun playing wit it. Very imaginative and fun! Well worth the price.

Based on many of the other reviews, I guess I should consider myself fortunate to have received a set that was complete, not broken, etc. Spent about an hour on Christmas Eve setting it up; the online video (YouTubed it) and instructions were well done. Our set was the Walmart exclusive version (with the pterodactyl) and I was fortunate to get it on sale for about $50 off several weeks before Christmas. My 4 year old son has only been playing with it for a couple of days (nearly non-stop) but so far this set has proven to be well-built and durable. If I had any critique, it’s that some vehicles get stuck and jam the elevator on occasion, but we’re learning which of them do it and remembering not to use those in the elevator. I do also wonder about the long term durability of things like the pterodactyl mechanisms; guess time will tell. Overall, however, we’ve been thrilled with this set. I feel badly for all of those parents who didn’t have our experience. Hopefully Mattel makes it up to you!

Fun Until Falling Apart

This was my kids' Christmas present and all they really wanted. After playing with it for 1 day, all the magnetic screws holding the gorilla to the unit have fallen out. It is also impossible to fix this as the screws are magnetic and completely unreachable with common tools. The gorilla was obviously the kids' favorite thing about this unit and the main reason I bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Garage with Some Quality Control Issues

Santa brought this phenomenal garage for my super excited 7 yr old son! But the gorilla is broken, the elevator sticks, and the 'release' thingy at the top level starting line consistently sticks on the left side (aka "Mommy's side") so the cars don't get released at the same time. I put it together by myself, and returning it to the store is NOT an option because it would cause a riot in my house!! Help!

we bought this for our son for xmas he will be 5 this month and he can not stop playing with it there is so much to do on this one toy its amazing while the cars go up the elevater he can be racing others down the other tracks and so so much more definitely worth the money

Poor quality

We just assembled the play set last night and did not last one day. The gorilla is stuck and won’t move. I searched around the toy to see what was not allowing it to move and notice the screws were loose. I removed the gorilla and to my surprise, all the screws were loose when I flipped it over, more pieces fell off. For the price we payed for, I would have expect it to last a long time not one day. My son is heart broken over a toy he has been wanting for a long time.

Gorilla snapped right off after less than 3 days

I am literally in tears. I spent almost $200 to make my sons Christmas wish come true and less than 3 days after Christmas the gorilla snapped right off. The plastic holding him onto the elevator is a tiny thin piece it broke right off. I sent costumer service an email my son is a mess. For the price I’m shocked this happened. I don’t know if we need a new gorilla or elevator to fix this but either way im heart broken. I hope they can make this right
