Stovetop cracked.

Stovetop cracked from flaw in glass after 11 months. Warranty only covers 90 days according to GE. It was not hit and nothing was dropped on it to create the flaw. Crack was hardly visible, but with continued heating and cooling, it became visible as the glass chipped along edge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would buy again

Pros: Aesthetically appealing, functional, great LED interior lighting, the versatility of the burners, the bridge zone is a great feature, convection bake is the bomb. Cons: Surface and surface edges easily scratch, difficult to clean food off surface. Took some getting used to the options and controls. Knobs are tricky to set and obtain the right desired temperature, either too low or too hot. When trying to use multiple burners, the surface isn't quite adequate to accommodate using nearly every burner. We ended up exchanging this model for the double oven model.
