CD error - No DISC
on January 4, 2019

I bought this CD player in summer of 2017, but now get the NO DISC error when I try to play ANY CD. I went to put a couple different BRAND NEW (just took cellophane off them) CDs from Christmas in thinking it was an old disc w/ scratches at first. Nothing will play. I have unplugged, followed all trouble shooting in book, etc. with no luck. I even put the CD back in that I listened to last before I got the errors, and error is still there.
Bought this a month ago and the speakers sound really bad ... Very poor quality ... The CD went out in less than 1 month ... Found out that this model is Very Bad

Love my Sony boombox. Its light and easy to carry around. Has a great sound to it and is easy to function. I use it for outdoors in my backyard for when Im in the pool or gardening and bring it back indoors after use. Has radio, tape and cd player so multi functioning. Sony is a great trusted name.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently bought mine on my last payday. It is fantastic! I listen to all my favorite radio stations and burned CDs on it. I paid a fair price and I love it!
This is the second one in less than a year. The first one I failed to register and the cd player stopped working. Now the new one the cassette player is screwed up and the volume.
The boombox is solid black. Yet, the labeling for all function buttons/keys is also in black. This makes it impossible to see and read what the function is! And do not expect the "directions" to make much sense, either.
