The only gripe I have with this unit is that the laser eye quit working after only 2 years of normal everyday use.

CD player broke twice

Ordered the boombox. CD stopped working. Exchanged it for a new one. Again, the CD stopped working. Waste of money.

I bought this months ago, and am only now attempting to play a cassette. The manual does not tell you how to make it play. The SONY website offers a manual that tell you everything BUY that about the unit. It is extremely frustrating to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked ok at first but...

I got this for Christmas and it worked ok, but a couple of days later, the cd drive stopped working. Overall, unreliable, and mediocrity is written all over it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No better that RCA

I've only had this a week so my review may not be as thorough if it was six months down the road, but I purchased this in order to replace my old large boombox that was 16 years old. Plus I wanted to purchase an mp3 player that I could plug into it. It's so small I find I have a lot more room on the shelf than I did before. There are so many features to play different kinds of media. The only thing I would like to have seen is the buttons to be more easily readable. However, once you know what button is attached to what function you have it made.
I would recommend this to a friend!

CD Player stopped working

Purchased the boombox on July 16 and the radio, cassette and cd all worked very well until today (7 weeks after purchase). The cd player died after one song and now gives an error message of "no cd".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
