i just got this and am very happy so far, happy to listen to old cassette tapes from years ago I am very unhappy with your review procedures. I don't have a nickname and when I type in Jen, first of all you tell me it is too short, then I add an n and you tell me that it is already in use. I don't know why a nickname is important.

I'm 62 yrs old and wi-fi is new to me to use but the directions with this are simple and easy for me to comprehend, Good price also, great to take fishing or just hanging out.

great sound but wont play CDs after 7 months

Great sounding but now say no CD! Worked great for about 7 months. Played CD one day, next day it stopped. Tape player works and sounds great but bought so I could listen to both! Very annoying. Now I'll have to but a separate CD player. The last Sony CD player I owned lasted 10 years. Hoped to get more than 7 months out of this new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought for the cassette function

Sony always made great cassette players so now that many of my favorite artists are releasing cassettes I needed something to play them on in 2020. I only wish they would put out a portable cassette player.

I've been using this boombox for a month or so. I bought it to replace my 20 year-old Sony boombox. The new one is great, too. I expect it to last a good long time. Nice sound; easily portable, and with the Sony reliability I've come to expect. Can't go wrong with Sony.

Not bad but could be better!!

I own this so called boombox from Sony and while I love that it has an AM/FM tuner, cassette recorder/player and CD the sound while clear almost has no bass! Pressing the Mega Bass feature almost does nothing to the sound. The system is only rated as having 1.7W/channel so I already knew that going in. Hopefully Sony will wake up and bring out a future model that's a bit more powerful, rated as 5W or 10W/channel. So because of this, I am only giving it 3 stars!!
