DO NOT buy this unit. Used it once and it does NOT vacuum completely. Second use same thing. I called Food Saver since I purchased it on line and they told me to wash the gasket in hot water for 15 seconds and try again. So I did. A tad bit better not certainly not worth the price I paid for it!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not too satisfied with this product. I had a more upgraded model and it was amazing then broke so I ordered this one and this feels way cheaper than my other one and I spent a good chunk of change on this. It's not to my satisfaction.

Keeps my food fresh and easy to operate. The hand held option allows me to even store lunch meat to kee it fresh longer in a zip locked bag

My husband bought this for me last year for Christmas and I absolutely love it!!! My husband is a hunter so we use it a lot to package meat. It’s also small enough that it doesn’t take up too much room on my counter. I am going to get my mom one for Christmas this year.
