I have been using Phillips electric shavers since they first came out.
Obviously satisfied. I did not require the cleaning portion of the 9000 series but could not get the blade I wanted unless I bought same. Takes getting used to. I am getting a closer shave than my previous one which died after several years of use. Not able to change the battery nor was the shop that sold it to me originally.

This product does not live up to Philips standards

I have been using philishave products most of my live and find this latest product to be worst of all the Philishaves I have ever purchased and used considering the price at purchase. I certainly would not recommend this product to any one. The separate trimmer is cumbersome to use. When using the unit to shave I feel like it is pulling my beard out of my face rather than cutting the hair. I think Philips can do better.
Cons: not a proper shave my older units are better

Very close shave

Philips gave me this product to review and it's a great razor. i love how the heads contour to your face and give you a great shave. The cleaning solution takes up a bit of counter space but it's worth it to keep your razor fresh. the razor is very quiet which is nice in the mornings
Pros: really close shave
Cons: counter space

Philips gave me this product to review and after trying a couple of weeks, I am very impressed with it.
It is very easy to grip and does a fantastic job in just a few moves. It won't cut your skin even if pimples present. The part I love the most is that you can just rinse it under the tap water- this is the first wet&dry electric shaver I ever have. It also comes with a cool cleaning station which can also be used as a charging station and a stand. The package also comes with a trimmer which is very useful to me. But you have to pull out the shaving head to put it on. It is not as convenient as my previous Philips shaver which has the trimmer head attached to the body and you just need a push to use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product gives a good smooth shave but the design makes the experience frustrating. The - and + buttons that adjust the 3 settings are located where you hold the shaver. This results in the shaver speed changing when your grip accidently presses the - or + button on the front of the shaver.
Pros: good shave

Easy to use but difficult to understand beeps

I bought this expensive shaver. Quality of shave is impressive but shaver itself requires lot of maintenance, it has been one year I bought cleaning liquids more than was written on 3 containers of liquid, replace shaving head and now my shaver is not happy with me and giving annoying beeps all the time in charging/cleaning system. I read all the book but why beeps are coming, I couldn't figure out.
Pros: easy to use good quality of shave
Cons: expensive to maintain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quite Razor with Loud Results

Philips gave me the opportunity to try their latest razor and it did not disappoint. It was the quiestest razor that I have ever used in 40 years of shaving. The multi-way worked well together to give all my face contours a cean-close shave. Very few spots did I need to go over again.
The quick rotating heads did a good job the first time around. Using this razor save me precious time in the morning. In order to use the trimmer, I had to detach the razor heads and attach the trimmer for my sideburns. This was easy enough to do but it a little inconvenient. If you need to use the trimmer daily, you may find it annoying but if you need to use it once a week to upkeep your sideburns, then you won't mind. The all-in-one charger and cleaning stand did a great job to keep this razor performing like new. My old razor didn't have the cleaning stand and I feel it would have performed better if it did. This shaver makes me feel good about shaving every morning. I do wish, however, that there was a plastic head protector to protect my investment. If I want to take only the razor without the cord or stand on a short weekend trip, I would hate for the heads to be damaged. All in all, this is one of the best razors I have ever used.
