I've been using Norelco shavers and products for over 25 years. I am amazed on how these shavers continue to evolve in quality, comfort and closeness of shave. The new style takes a little getting use to as I perfer the more compact three head shaver but the closeness of the shave like over it's evolution keeps getting better in smoothness and comfort. Cheers to you Norelco for continuing to strive to produce a superior product. I truly believe there is no better product currently on the market. The Norelco brand means Excellence in shaving

SW9700 is a Great razor however the Norelco web site misleads. All the paper work with the razor shows blades good for 1 yr however your own web site says 2yrs???

This shaver is a very good looking piece of equipment that is easy to use, charge and clean. It provides a clean, comfortable, close & easily controllable shave.
The replaceable (quick-change) head units, one with the three rotary heads and one for closecdetaik trimming (ordered separately) make this a great system.

Some years ago I hurt my back so severely that just bending to the bathroom sink to shave with a blade was torture. Consequently, my wife investigated which electric shavers performed best. She then purchased a Philips Norelco Arcitec. I have used it almost daily since 2009 and thought it was a wonderful shaver. Then this past Christmas (2017), my daughter thought I should have the latest and greatest, so she purchased the new Philips Norelco Star Wars Special Edition. Well, I thought, how much better could it be than my old faithful shaver? The difference was immediately apparent. Philips Norelco has managed to finesse an even better, quieter, more comfortable shave out of their original basic design.

i have used the Series 9000 for over 3 weeks and returned it. it does a good shave but it takes a lot of passes to get good results - as if there was a lack of power. It could be that my previous shaver was not a rotary model but the unit felt underpowered to me.
it has a great design - loved the ability to do a wet or dry shave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing wrong with the cleaner however no product improvements have been made over the years to improve the products reliability.I still have concerns with the motor that pumps the fluid to the shaving heads only lasting a year or two.
Pros: does a good job cleaning the heads
Cons: no improvements made since previous model

The first one I received theCLEANING PORTION wouldn,t work as the head would not stay down when I clicked it so no power. Amazon immediately replaced it with another one. This works very well. The only issue I have is that it is akward to change heads with trimmer. It dosent just click in easily. i would prefer to have trimmer on the razor.. other than that it works really well & I am very happy with it
