I have had a Norelco (don't see any model number) for years. My new Norelco 9000 series glides over my face very smoothly, BUT it does not cut as close as my previous Norelco. Just saying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Shaver works great when new but since major component says it's only good for one year, I have to assume it is made with inferior material
Pros: shaver gives very good shave.
Cons: shaver good for 12 months and then needs $60yr.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the shaver mainly for my plain and it is really good! It feels good, no cuts in my skin anymore and no need to be that careful as I always had to be with a shaving razor!
Pros: good feeling, easy to handle, no cuts anymore with razor
I was skeptical sbout uding thid rszor because I never could use an electric razor due to neck irritation. I decided to try it since it was guaranteed. I have used it dry, wet and with shaving lotion. No irritation whatsoever. I get the closest shave with the lotion, next wet and then dry. The dry is good to clean up if I'm just hanging out. I really am happy that I bought this razor.
Pros: comfortable, quick and easy, easy cleanup, close shaves, wet or dry
I had not bought a shaver for many years. The technology of the shaver industry has improved immensely over the past seven (7) years.
I found the shave I purchased has more than exceeded my expectations. For example, I can tell how much power I need for recharging without even turning on the shaver. Also, I use the mustache/sideburn trimmer every day.
Also, this was new to me that I can wash the shaver heads and trimmer without worrying if any damage would occur.
