I really like my new Phillips 9700 shaver. It gives me a very close and comfortable shave with zero irritation, and it is fast and easy to hold. I have been using Norelco products for many years (over thirty years) and would recommend this shaver very favorably.
Pros: comfortable and fast shave., easy to hold fits the hand well., very quiet and three speeds., the cleaning system does a great job .

I am mystified by the claim of 17 shaves from 1 full charge.
Otherwise, a very close, and comfortable shaver. I'm very happy with the product.

Generally a great shave, works better wet.
The Side burn trimmer is too course, I miss the old built in trimer. Would prefer a fine and course attachmment.
The shaver head pops out with heavy pressure.

Shaver works well. Power cord does nit fit clean system. appears prongs that insert into power cord are too large or hole power cord inserts into clean system is too small to allow power cord to connect. Do not buy with clean system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I finally made the leap from traditional manual razors, to the the Norelco electric razor. I was as to set everything up quickly and easily. I’m getting ancleaners shave then I have ever had. I especially like the set cleaning function of the razor. No bumps or redness after using. I would highly recommend this razor to anyone looking to make the switch.
