I have used the 9000 about a month. It is the best electric razor I have used in over 50 years. I'm particularly please with how quickly it mows down whiskers, how quiet it is, and how long it holds a charge. I have not tried it on a week's beard, but predict a good outcome. Highly recommend it.

I've been using Norelco Shavers for at least 40 years and this Series 9000 Shaver is the best one yet. Don't see how they can be made any better, but keep trying!

When I first used the shaver, the results were terrible. It did not cut my beard at all which angered me after my spending so much for it. I called the customer support and they sent me new shaving heads and said the shaver must have sat in the store for a long time. When I replaced the shaving heads, the difference was amazing. The shave was smooth, comfortable, and very clean. It was easy to use and maintain. I recommend this shaver highly. If anyone has the same problem, it really is worth it to make the effort to contact the company. I have never had such excellent results before with an electric razor.

Works better then the older brands. Covers more face area while shaving Also works best when I here are new blade. Cleaning machine is ok you can do a better job if you do it in five minutes.

Was not sure that I would like using an elec shaver but was surprised to find that I was getting a very close shave...I have very sensitive skin and this new model does an excellent job of providing a smooth shave..No skin irritation at all.

i would recommend this shaver. it gives a nice close shave to some-one that only shaves every 3 or 4 days. it is easy to clean
