Nowhere as good as Sensortouch 3D (with exception of ridiculous costing replacement blades). Not happy with blades and even unhappier with cost of replacement blades. Norelco is regressing in the electric shaver market. My days as a loyal client are over.
The 9000 shaver gives you a nice shave and is easy to use and clean. However, when you go to purchase the replacement heads you will be surprised at the cost. Close to half the cost of the shaver.
Pros: easy to use., easy to clean., nice shave.
Cons: replacement heads are expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great shaver AFTER original heads replaced

Bought this series 9000 shaver 6/2015 after my series 8000 shaver had been stolen with luggage. I was sorely disappointed as it missed places, I had to go over the same place multiple times, and it caught on my skin some. After one year, the replacement head indicator light had not come on but I decided to replace the heads anyway. WOW! It's like a new shaver. Smooth, fast, and no catches. Back to Norelco being my favorite shaver. Anyone having a similar problem, try replacing the heads. It seems the ones I had out of the box were not as good as usual.
Many great features. Shaves close and fast. Only con is the power switch. The way you hold the razor causes your thumb to hit the switch and turn off the razor. Really wish it had a pop up trimmer.
This shaver does a superior job of shaving. It leaves my face very smooth. It does require a larger footprint on the counter than other shavers because it has a dock that is used to clean the shaver between uses.
