My husband and grandson have really senitive skin, so all Shavers have broken out their skin. This is why I checked out this the Philips Norelco Shaver, so this is why I bought one for each. It has been great for both my husband and our grandson, their skins looks and feels wonderful, no break outs. I would recommend this "SHAVER" for all men.
Easy to use, easy to clean and blade lasted a full year + . Razor is very easy to use in any situation and runs quietly. After owning a foil type in the past, I'm convinced that as far as electric razors go, I will probably not go back to that style again.
The new wash tank doesn't always dry. I sent my first tank back because it would wash on its own and never dry. The replacement works but sometimes I go to use it and it's still wet 24 hours later. The previous design that the razor was mechanically moved into the wash tank worked better. The razor has always been the best on the market and is the only razor I would ever use.
Like all Phillips electric razors one's beard has be trained for the razor. I like Phillips razors over the competition. The down side is that one has to switch heads to use the trimmer. The upside is that the razor can be used under wet conditions. It's not perfect but gives a good shave. Eventually my beard will get used to this razor.
I have never enjoyed or have a smoother and cleaner shave until I bought this product. It is exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy I purchased it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Forget all the other reviews here because every man loves a new razor when they buy it. Those first few shaves are wonderful and you think the honeymoon will last. Well I have owned the 9311 for over two years now and I don't know why I still keep it. The razor has gimmicks like the ridiculous adjustable 3 speeds. You have to crank it up to high speed to work well. The cleaning system that comes with this is a big ripoff and a sorry excuse to charge top dollar and keep you buying cleaning cartridges. The best way to clean it is to run the heads under hot water and whisk away any stubble inside. I don't believe the heads are sophisticated enough to lift and cut individual hairs. This is another gimmick Norelco created to imitate multi-blade disposable razors. You need to replace the heads after six months and they are expensive. I won't be buying into Norelco premium razors anymore. They come up with new gimmicks all the time to get $200+ out of you.
