Doesn't cut very well .Very expensive . Be cautious-it can nip you. I cannot tell if the fancy charging- cleaning system does any good . The instruction manual is poorly written , difficult to understand , illustrations faint ,small ,and don't match the text .
THE SHAVER IS EXTREMELY QUIET, CUTS VERY CLOSE FOR A SMOOTH LONG LASTING SHAVE. SHAVER DESIGN IS GREAT FOR EASY HANDLING. SMART CLEAN SYSTEM IS OUTSTANDING. REALLY CLEANS AND CHARGES SHAVER. GREAT PLACE TO KEEP SHAVER HEADS SAFE. I ALSO LIKE THAT IT LUBRICATES SHAVER.
The shaver is the best one I had. My old one did not work as well anymore so I got this one glad I it . shave is excellent& features are good For the price it is a excellent shaver. I would tell anyone to get it
I have had and used exclusively Norelco razors for more than 65 years. the last two that I bought were wet or dry and the closeness of the shave went way down. I am sending this one back and buying new cutters for my old one and hope for the best.
This 9300 Series shaver gives me the best electric shave I have ever experienced. I have used electric shavers for about 45 years and the majority have been Norelco shavers. My other razors claimed "blade close" shaves but always fell somewhat short. The 9300 meets that boast on my face. I don't know if it's the SH90 heads or the 8-way flex, whatever it is works great for me.
I don't shave in the shower or otherwise wet-shave but the water proof, rinsable, design lends itself to easy cleaning. The Inclusion of the Smart Clean system is a superb addition. This is my first experience with this type of accessory. The ability to give the razor a thorough cleaning and lubrication should help keep the blades fresh and the cutting efficient. What I don't care for is the fact that the cleaning automatically switches to charging when done. Batteries typically have a charge-cycle limit before they exhibit degraded performance. To have the base charge the razor every cleaning may lead to premature failure. For this reason I only put my razor into the Smart clean once weekly. The rest of the time I pop the razor under hot water and air dry. (this is why only 4 stars).
In closing let me just say that this razor may seem pricey but it is well worth the extra money for "the perfect electric share".
I have been using Norelco shavers for many years. The last one is model 7100. So I am used to the feel of an electric razor. But this one hurts the skin and in-spite of its high cost still manages to not cut some hairs leaving long strands which are harder to cut the next time.
